Respectful communication: Treat all members with kindness, respect, and empathy. Language or actions that are abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or inflammatory are not permitted.
Constructive dialogue: Share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback in a constructive manner. Healthy discussions are encouraged, but they must be conducted with respect and empathy.
Privacy and confidentiality: Protect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about other members without their consent. Respect the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared within the community.
Faith and inclusivity: Acknowledge and respect the diverse expressions of Christian faith within the community. Discussions should be inclusive and considerate of different perspectives and practices.
Uphold World Vision values: As a member of this community, you commit to upholding and living out World Vision’s values through your engagement here: we are Christian, we are committed to the poor, we value people, we are stewards, we are partners, and we are responsive.
Positive contributions: Strive to contribute positively to the community. Share inspiring stories, helpful resources, and supportive comments that can uplift and encourage other members.
Support and encouragement: Offer support and encouragement to fellow members. Celebrate successes, offer prayers, and provide assistance where possible to foster a nurturing community spirit.
Follow platform policies: Abide by the broader policies and terms of service of the platform hosting the community. Ensure all interactions comply with these rules.
No spam or self-promotion: Avoid posting spam, irrelevant links, or excessive self-promotion. Sharing relevant resources and experiences is welcome but should not overshadow the community’s focus on collective goals and support.
Report concerns: Maintaining a safe and welcoming community requires all of us. If you encounter any behavior that violates these guidelines or makes you uncomfortable, report it to the community moderators. Your concerns will be addressed confidentially and with care.
