What questions have your teens asked you about the Bible, and how have you responded?
There are many different ways teens engage and learn about Scripture. While they may be learning about the Bible at home and at church, their friends and influencers on social media may have different views and things to say about the Word.
While it’s great for teens to hear various thoughts on the importance and relevance of the Bible, influencers and friends might not always be helpful in your teen’s faith formation. That’s why it’s important for teens to be connected to trustworthy sources, whether at home or elsewhere, who can help the Bible come alive for young people.
In this session, Dr. Joel Muddamalle (director of theology and research for Proverbs 31 Ministries and Lysa TerKeurst, Bible teacher, theologian, and author) discusses some of the misconceptions teens may have about the Bible, how they are engaging with Scripture, and some ways that parents can make theology relevant, exciting and inviting for their teens.
